Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Drive Cable, assembly drawings, hand lever

Question
I replaced the drive cable on a self propelled Toro lawn mower because it had broken.  I attaches to the front left and then snakes it way back to the hand lever to engage the self drive motor.  Once attached, I engage the drive but I notice that the wheels try to move but them seem not to engage.  I have re adjusted the cable to make sure it is tight enough or loose enough but to no avail.  The small belt also moves but does not seem to engage the mechanism?
Please advise.

Answer
Hello Guadalupe:

>>From your Description it Sounds like (if you have the Cable Adjust Correctly) the Belt has Stretched and Requires Replacing or the Pulley on the Crankshaft is Bad and Requires Replacing.
>>You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Mower at this Site Addy, https://lookup3.toro.com/partdex/default.cfm and Select Start Parts Viewer. Now Enter the Model Numbers () and Click Search. Now Select View Assembly Drawings for your Year Model.
>>If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.
