Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): 12 hp briggs, hp briggs, toro riding mower

need to chand bottom seal its on a toro riding mower is there any thing that i need to take off other than the pulley and does the seal just pop out the model # is hard to read I think it says 234737

 The easiest way to change the seal is to remove the bottom plate from the crankcase. If you can get to it, it is possible to replace it without doing that. Just be careful you don't crack the housing. The best thing is to do it right for a trouble free replacement.
