Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): boggin leaf blower, leaf blower, homelite

Question
i have a homelite vac attack2 hand held leaf blower model number ut08542a and it went, over a year or two, from working fine to bogging down when i tried to get it to work at full throttle to not even idling properly at all (running very rough at idle) and then eventually stalling (that started this year). now heres the weird part, when it was idling fine but having trouble running at full throttle, i could get it to run alot better(not full throttle but close) if i held it on it's side.

Answer
You have a blockage buildup in your carburetor! If it still runs now you can try putting a good carb/injector cleaner through it and run it for a while. The longer you run it with a cleaner in it the cleaner it will get, however this is a long process. It probably wont fix it in five minutes of running but it will at least get the cleaning agent in the carb where its dirty and start to loosen up the buildup! Try that and after three or four times of using you should see a considerable difference!
