Briggs & Stratton Engine on Generac Pressure Washer

Gasoline leaks out of carburetor through filter. Engine starts easily but stalls after 3-4 seconds. Do I replace or rebuild Carb.? Can you give me part numbers? Thanks for any advice. Henry

The rebuild kit is P/N 498260 and I have it listed for $7.16.  If you can get it good and clean, then rebuilding it is the way to go.  If it were a different problem with the carb, I'd say replace it.  If you do decide to replace it, there are 3 different styles of this carb available, primer, choke and auto-choke.  If you can tell me which you have I can give you that part number.  Thanks, PK.
