Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Chainsaw Chain came off, using a chainsaw, links in the chain

Question
I just started using a chainsaw, and did not notice that the chain was loose. The chain come off during a cut at High Speed. Now one of the links in the chain won't move like the others. I was going to take pliers and try to get it to move up and down, but don't know if this is a indication of damage.. Should I just replace the chain with a new one??? of do these mess up that easy???
The chainsaw is a 14" Echo GAS

Answer
What happened is you "burred" or pinched the drive link.  You can try loosening it with a pliers it may work,   it if wont fit in the groove of the bar you can take a dremel tool and carefully remove the burr marks.

Its easier to replace the chain.  If you keep the chain properly tightened this will not normally happen.

Safe Sawing!
