Question
I was just given a Scotts OHV 21", 5Hp push mower with a
Briggs & Stratton Europa engine that needed some work. The
model number is C2105010, SN is S013532320230 and code
2063M. (I believe the mower is made by Murry/Noma.
First, is there anywhere online I can find an owners manual
for this, either as a download or even as a paper copy to
be mailed?
2)After cleaning the whole thing (though we did not have
time to to take the carburetor apart we did spray it our
with Carb-X)we replaced the air filter and the spark plug,
then we adjusted the throttle control so that it would not
only start but also run without shutting off. We also
filled it up with fresh gas and added a little Sta-Bil. Unfortunately, the thing still seems a bit gas hungry as I
have to max out the throttle control to get it to run right
while I mow. Yes, I actually have to mow in the "choke"
position. However we cannot adjust the throttle any more in
that direction. I think the throttle control cable might be
damaged somewhere along the line. Does that make sense?
What do you think it might be?
3) Besides possibly a new throttle control I also might
need some new wheels, and one of the two plastic, knob-like
handles that allow you to double fold the long metal handle
of the mower. So, depending on the answer to #1...haw can a
find the right parts for this thing. I have not had mush
luck searching at this point.

Hi Erik, it's possible that Briggs and Stratton through the Murray division will have a manual available. check with Briggs and Stratton at their website. The fact that you are mowing on choke means the carburetor needs cleaning and adjusting. If it is a float bowl style carburetor, cleaning will probably do, if a diaphragm style, replace the diaphragm and that should correct the problem.  We will carry most carburetor kits at http://www.discountonlineparts.com/lawnmower/?c=Carburetor%20Parts
