Question
How do you replace an electric starter on a Briggs & Stratton 26 HP model446777-0244-E1.  The electric starter makes no sound.  I have a new battery and I replaced the solenoid.
Thanks,

First check all battery cables for corrosion as this will keep power from flowing freely to the starting system. If they are dirty, clean with a wire brush and reattach. Apply a light coat of grease to the top of the terminals to prevent further corrosion. To remove the starter first disconnect the battery, then remove the wire from the starter. There are 2 bolts that you have to remove from the housing you should be able to remove the starter
