Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Lawn More Engine and Chain Saw, two minuets, drive sprocket

Question
I was cutting my front yard the lawn more engine stopped. I had plenty of gas, I attempted to start it and it started ran for about two minuets and stopped. I tried to start ie and noticed that I could not pull the starter. I waited unitil the mower cooled off and tried it again with the same results.

What would cause the chain on my saw to continue to slip off. Sometimes the saw will be running and it will not turn the chain.

Answer
On the mower, remove the spark plug and pull the starter, if it pulls
look at the spark plug hole, and gas shoots out, then your carb is flooding and filling the piston with gas, and you will need to fix the carb, and change the oil, as the oil is likely filled with
gas as well.
If you still cannot pull the rope, then you may have big trouble.

On the chain saw, I would guess that the chain's drive sprocket is worn out and has damaged the chain as well, in which case, both will need replaced, take the saw to a local shop and ask to see a new
sprocket and you will know for sure.
I will see if I can find a wore out sprocket and put up a pic of one beside a new one.
