Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Poulan 3400 Counter Vibe Chainsaw, diameter hose, leak fuel

Question
The gas tank has two holes.  One of the holes is large enough for the drain tube.  The other hole is not large enough for the gas line going to the carburetor.  If you force it in there it will constrict the hose and stop gas flow.  Will a smaller hose work?

Answer
Hello David:

>>From your Description it Sounds like the Fuel Line you are Using is Too Big. The Supply Hose is Usually Small then the Return Hose.
>>I Suggest you Use a Smaller Diameter Hose. These Hoses are Supposed to have a Tight Fit and Not Leak Fuel.
>>Are you Using Clear/Yellow Fuel Hose?
>>You can Usually Purchase this Hose from your Local Small Engine Service Center or Retail Automotive Retailer.
>>Please, Do Not Hesitate, If you Hit a Snag, if I Missed Something or this Does Not Correct the Problem, I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.
