Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Homelite 330 chain saw, old saw, google

Question
It will start in 2-3 pulls.  I let it warm up some but everytime I move it from its fixed position it dies.  Could this be a carb float problem.  It is an old saw but in very good condition

Answer
Most likely carb.  Did you try turning the low and high speed just out about 1/8 of a turn?

Did you Google "adjusting a chainsaw carburetor"?  The key to adjusting the carb it NOT to overtighten the adjustment needles.  They just need to be GENTLY seated.

Good old saw with solid engine but the carb parts age and become brittle causing them not to work.  Probably worth investing in a carb kit.
