Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): honda vtwin 20hp, fusion machine, engine governor

Question
I have a honda v-twin 20 hp engine on a fusion machine. The honda engine wouldnt crank up. So i took the carburetor off cleaned it and put it back on the engine. When i cranked the engine it started right up but was idling so loud it sounded like it was about to blow up or freakin take off like a airplane. Have any suggestions??

Answer
Did you connect the governor linkage correctly?  Can you hold the throttle closed by hand to prevent engine over-speeding?

Did you accidently loosen the governor arm screw causing the governor mis-adjustment?

If you do not know what a governor is or how to properly adjust a small engine governor you can Google "small engine governor adjustment"  and you will see a lot of links.

Let me know.
