Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): transaxle trivia, transaxle, gear oil

Question
its me again with more questions about the peerless 205-205-024C. thank you for your time and for the link to the exploded view of my transaxle. when i fill the transaxle should i fill it to the top of the filler hole? if so do i need to make sure the air is gone? please list if any details on filling with the 80W 90 thanks again

Answer
Hi Derek:

No. This Transaxle Uses 32oz of 80W90 Gear Oil. There has to be Room Inside the Transaxle for the Fluid to Heat and Expand. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Have a Happy Holiday Season and May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.

Good Luck
