Hi Fred, hope you can help. My Honda GX 31 whipper snipper serial No.HZAE 1026482,will start and idle, will run at half revs.but stalls at full throttle.If you pump the primmer bubble when the carb is fully open it will run at full revs, but eventually stalls.Am I correct in believing this is a carb problem, and is there a solution to it.Thank-you.

Yes it does sound like a few related problem but first eliminate any extensive load on the engine.  It's not under load the engine still when I come up to speed I think you may have an air leak in the fuel circuit I would check carburetor mounting screws and gaskets and fuel lines also check your head gasket to be sure that it is sealed.  If this is not it remove the carburetor and rebuild it using a new carburetor kit reattach it using new mounting gaskets.  I hope this information helps you best of luck in your project.
