Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Bolen re-stringing (winding), bump head, antihero

I have a bolen and lost the booklet for it, but would like to know how to put in new cord for cutting weeds.  So, I guess how do you rewind it with new string?

Remove the cutting head and remove the cover where the line comes out.  If it is bump head there will be a spring remove the spring and set aside.  There will be antihero on the spindle indicating which way the wind the line.  Fill the spol with the proper size line install the spring and snap the cover in place.  It may be easier to purchase a pre-wound spool rather than trying to rewind the one you have.  I hope this information has helped if you need more assistance please contact us good luck on your project.
