Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Troy Bilt Horse Tiller, troy bilt tiller, approximate capacity

Question
QUESTION: I have an older Troy Bilt Tiller.  I think it is the one they call Horse.  I want to change the transmission oil but can find no dipstick and don't know where to put the oil or how much oil to put in.  There is a drain plug on the bottom and one on the side.

ANSWER: Hello Ken:

This Transmission is Filled Using the Plug on the Side. With the Unit Setting Level, Fill the Transmission Until the Fluid is Just Starting to Run Out of the Side Plug. Please, Do Not Hesitate, If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem, I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.
