Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Echo HC 151 engine wont run, fuel inlet, air passage

Had not been run for several years.  Got to run by using almost full choke.  Then quit running that way.  Replaced filters, then installed rebuild kit to carburetor.  Fires up for second then dies like no fuel.  Pumped extra times.  no luck.  Any suggestions to try before taking to a pro?

Be sure you have unobstructed fuel flow to the carburetor.  If so remove the varb take apart and clean every fuel and air passage with a wire from a twist tie.  Blow out with carb cleaner or compressed air.  See if you can get the internal screen cleaned in the carb.  Try blowing fluid back through the fuel inlet.  If this does not work take it in.
