Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): craftsman 6.5 lawn mower, automobile engine, car oil

Question
Someone accidentally poured car oil into the mower. How do I drain it and will it be okay for future use?
Thanks.

Answer
if this mower has a four cycle engine on it you could put oil that you would put in an automobile engine into this in most engine manufacturers now are recommending SAE 30 or you could use a 10W40.  The older Boers had a plug in the bottom of the engine and you turn mower on the side to get it up.  The newer engines you to the mower in the oil runs out the oil filled to into a pain.  When you change oil be sure you are only putting 20 ounces back into it.  Overfilling the engine can lead to some problems.  I hope this helps.
