Nissan Repair: question, fuel pressure regulator, gray smoke

Question
i have a maxima 30J 1999/ 360 000 Km/smoke from exhaust.
thanks

Answer
Ibrahim,

Smoke from the exhaust can mean a couple of things.  White/gray smoke can mean that the headgasket is blown or the head or block is cracked.  Black smoke can mean that the injectors are hanging and or the fuel pressure regulator is sticking or broke.  Black exhaust is over-rich and white is antifreeze going through the exhaust.  Email me back with which one it is and we'll go from there.
