Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Chainsaw wont stay running?, squeeze bottles, fuel lines

I bought a used chainsaw for $20 but it wont stay running. I replaced the fuel lines, cleaned the carb. , put fresh gas in.  When i put the cord it will start on idle then dies immediately. It wont start at all with the throttle in. Whats wrong i think its the mixture but when i cut back it wont start. What do you think?

What brand and model is the saw?  Get a squirt container like the ketchup squeeze bottles at some diners.  Put a little fuel/oil mix in the container and then squeeze a small amount of fuel/oil mix directly into the carb.  

You should be able to keep the saw running by squirting a small amount of fuel/oil mix directly into the carbuetor.

Let me know if the saw continues to run while squirting the fuel into the carb.
