Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Tecumseh Recoil Starter, recoil starter, tension spring

Question
I have a Canadian Tire mower powered by a Tecumseh TVS90-46094D motor and tonite when i went to start it the starter cable snapped. I proceeded to take the assembly off the mower to rethread the cable however there seems to be no tension no matter which way i turn the assembly. I even tried putting a small screw into the bottom and spinning it up with a drill thinking it may have just totally released.. No such luck.. What is the replacement for this piece ? I have had no luck in locating this model online

Answer
Most of the time the tension spring or pulley breaks.  It is easier and faster to replace the starter assembly part number Tecumseh 590737.  Often times it is just as expensive to order the pulley and spring.  I recommend Googling the part number and order a complete new starter.
