hello i have a tecumseh engine that is on a snowblower. the model number is HM80-155020. i want to know how to advance the ignition timing on this engine.

After Viewing the Breakdown of this Unit and from your Question; If the Ign Timing on this Engine can be Advanced, then the Component that the Point Set is Mounted in will have Slots where the Mount Bolts are. Loosen the Mount Bolts for the Point Set Holder and Move the Assembly Slightly in the Direction you Require to Advance or Retard the Ign Timing. If the Point Set Holder Does Not have the Slotted Holes, then the Timing can Not be Adjusted. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance.
