Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Lawnboy idle dropped, carburetor linkage, assembly drawings

Question
QUESTION: Mr. Bridges,

I have a Lawn Boy mower, with 6.5 HP engine.  I was mowing last night when I went under a bush and the engine was running fine.  I somehow hit a branch on the left side of the engine, and the idle dropped to just barely running.  To finish, I adjusted the idle screw high enough to cut.  But can you help me figure out what happened?  I'm wondering if a spring or something popped off, or if I somehow damaged the primer bubble.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.  And thank you.

ANSWER: Hello Joe:

Send me the Model Numbers Off the Mower, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. It is Possible that a Spring was Forced Off the Carburetor Linkage. If you Wish to Start Looking before I get the Mowers Model Numbers; then Use the Following Site Addy to View the Breakdown. You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Mower at this Site Addy, https://lookup3.toro.com/partdex/default.cfm?xCaller=LawnBoy and Select Start Parts Viewer. Then Enter the Model Numbers and Click Search. Then Select View Assembly Drawings. Then Select the Component you Wish to View. Thanks.

QUESTION: The model number is 10362, the serial number is 210004033 (2001 model year).  I tried to look at the assembly drawings, but I couldn't quite make out whether something was missing on mine or not.  I think it's lack of experience reading drawings like that.  Thanks again for your help, it's been wonderful.

Answer
Hello Again Joe:

Go to the Breakdown Again, Please. I will Use the Breakdown for a Reference and Guide you through what to Look for. Select the "Engine LEV120-361516a" File. Zoom in the Breakdown Picture. The Linkage you want to Check is Shown in the Breakdown as the Following Numbers: 19, 186 and 207. Make Sure these are Still Connected to the Carburetor and the Governor Arm (#16). If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck
