Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Murray riding mower, extreme condition, differant

Question
I getting my mower ready for season. Its a Murray 14.5 hp riding mower. I was curious.does the gearbox need oil or grease or is lifetime serviced. Or are they all differant? I wanted to know because my mower was under water for a time and had to be servyced out of that extreme condition. please help.
