Answer
Hello Waylon:

Sorry for the Delay. This Question was Located in the Question Pool. You can View a Breakdown of the Mower at this Site Addy; http://www.snapper.com/manuals/ Select your Model from the List in the Model/Part Numbers Section. Select Parts Manual from the Manual Type Section and Click Find Manuals. Now Download the Manual for your Unit from the List Provided. Make Sure the Spark Plug is Removed From the Engine Before Doing Any of these Checks, Please. On Page 12 of 36 is a Breakdown of the Driven Disc. Is this Disc Worn or have Chunks Missing? Have Someone Move the Speed Lever and Watch the Driven Disc and the Drive Disc. Are the Mating Properly? Do you See Any Components that Look Bent or Worn that Move when the Clutch is Depressed? Usually the Problem you Described is the Driven Disc or a Linkage Bent or Bushing Worn Out. The Complete Drive System Consists of Pages 6 thru 12 and the Drive Disc that Turns the Driven Disc is the Disc Mounted to the Engine.  If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck
