Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): john deer lt150 wont turn over, john deer, auto place

im trying to help out my grandmother. i only have the model number. sorry. if u need more info i can try to get more tomorrow. she has a john deer lt150 and when i turn the key on the lights come on but thats it. it makes no attempt to turn over or start at all. i charged the battery over night thinking it may be dead. still nothing. please help. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanx for your time.

If the battery is fully charged and it will not turn over.You may have a few things wrong. Bad starter,bad key switch,bad soileniod.To trouble shoot this get the battery tested at any auto place,if the battery is good then make sure you are getting power to the starting solenoid. If you are getting power try jumping the solenoid with a small wire from one of the big terminals to one of the smaller on the solenoid.
