QUESTION: The belt listed for my mower is 197242 and I have checked for hours online trying to get a cross reference number or the demensions on this belt; even the manual doesn't say. Can u enlighten me so I can buy elsewhere, thanks.

QUESTION: Sears mdl 917 28742 but only shows at sears site under 28642 (Ca. model). Its a MLT 5500 w/26hp B&S and 48" deck. I know that there has to be other aftermarket belts for this machine and would like to purchase a spare but cannot get any cross-reference numbers or the actual size from the sears number, any help is appreciated. Thanks

This belt  is sold by sears and is a OEM # 197242 They buy them from AYP who makes belts for a lot of Mowers both big and small.
