Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Crank shaft removal from B&S 5hp motor, crank shaft, conn rod

Question
I'm rebuilding a B&S 5hp motor model #130202, Type 052301, Code 79112006.  I need to remove the crank shaft to have it "redone".  I'll also have the cylinder wall honed.  I have the piston out and rod assembly removed.  The blower housing and clutch assembly are off.  I'm not sure how to remove the crankshaft so I can have it redone as it is damaged.  Thank you.

Answer
Hello Jason:

Sorry for the Delay. High Winds Downed Trees and my Electric and Phone Service has been on and Off. You need to Remove the Flywheel Also. You can View a Breakdown/IPL of this Engine at this Site Addy, http://www.smallenginepartswarehouse.com/parts.asp and Select the Shop Online Parts Look Up. Then Select the Model Tab. Then Select the OEM and Enter the Model (5 or 6 Digits) and Type Numbers (first 4 digits Only). Example: 130202-0523. Then Double Click on the Model in the Results Area. Now you can Select the Section of the Engine you Wish to View. Select the Cylinder, Gear Case and Piston Group. This should Assist you in Locating the Components that are Required to be Removed in Order to Remove the Crankshaft. Have you Looked into Purchasing a New Crankshaft and Conn Rod? Usually it is Better to Replace the Crankshaft and Conn Rod than to have the Crankshaft Repaired. If you Require a More Detailed Instructions, then Let me know. I am Rushed for Time at the Present Due to Weather Conditions and am Trying to Catch up on Answering Questions. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck
