Hello, I have a Toro Generator with no spark.  It has a suzuki engine.  The coil and igniter unit need to be replaced but parts are not available.  do you know where they might be available for or if there is a universal ignition module that could be used on this engine?  I hate to throw this away when everything else is fine, any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.

You might try you local auto parts store and look for a Nova or Nova II ignition exciter module.  If you are sure the coil is bad the module won't do you any good but typically the exciters fail before the coil.  For $20 it may be worth trying.

Other options would include ebay or trying to fit a different brand ignition coil.  This may be very challenging since the timing may be different on the coils.  

Did you try the Toro website for parts?
