Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): snowmobile, clutch pack, torque convertor

Question
i have a 1981 ski-doo citation it runs but the track wont move.When i give gas it revs up and about after 5-10 seconds the track will start moving.What do you think is wrong with my snowmobile????

This is a Drive Problem and can be Cause by Many Things. Some Models have a Torque Convertor, Others have a Clutch Pack. Some have a Drive Belt and Some Use a Drive Drum. From your Description, it Sounds like you have a Torque Convertor or a Clutch Problem. My Suggestion is to have it Repaired ny your Local Service Center.
