Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Honda 24hp not firing on one of the cylinder, one cylinder, problem thanks

I have a Honda 24 hp. GX670 on a Parker leaf loader with 34 hours on it. Some times the one cylinder will not function/fire. Also the choke needs to be closed half way in order to run well. What is the problem?

Have you checked the spark plugs? Try to change them and set the gap around .0025 Sometimes you get what they call a dry plug. That's why you would need to close the choke because that cylinder is not firing and not putting any vacuum to that side. Causing the engine to be starved for fuel.
