Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Muffler on Generator, briggs stratton engine, briggs stratton

As a follow-up, John, I have a Generac generator 5500 watts,Model #01655, with a Briggs & Stratton engine, model #204421, Type 0142E1, Code 05111YD. What type of muffler could I acquire that would reduce the noise level during operation?

Hello Again Robert:

For this Model Engine the Only Way to Quiet the Engine is to Adapt a 3/4" Cigar Muffler. They Do Not Make a Pancake Muffler in a Larger Size that will Adapt to this Engine.
