Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): JD 318 Mower Deck, john deere 318, hydraulic deck

The mower deck on my John Deere 318 does not lift when I pull the lift handle.  This is a hydraulic deck.  The fluid level is full and everything else on the tractor works well.  The deck is stuck in the down (mowing) position.

If the Other Hydraulic Accessories are Operating Properly, then the Lift Cylinder May have Blown the Piston Packing or the Control Valve May be Sticking. Is the Linkage Still Hooked Up to the Control Valve? You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Mower at this Site Addy, http://jdpc.deere.com/jdpc/servlet/com.deere.u90490.partscatalog.view.servlets.H... and Enter the Model Numbers and Click Find. Then Select the Sectional File. Then Select the Section of the Mower you Wish to View Online. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance.
