Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): honda mower ht3813 timing gear, overhead camshaft, cam shaft

Question
I am trying to remove the head from the engine block.  to do so. I must remove the overhead camshaft.  On the end of the cam shaft is the timing gear.  I must remove the timing gear in order to slide the cam shaft out of the  head.  I can't see how to remove the timing gear.  It looks like it was welded to the cam shaft?  Not sure.  It might be threaded to the cam shaft but I can't see any threads .  Do you know how I can remove the timing gear?

Answer
Hello Mike:

You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Mower/Engine at this Site Addy, http://hayward.arinet.com/scripts/EmpartISAPI.dll?MF&app=ASP&lang=EN&TF=Mainfram... and Select the Catalog American Honda. Select the Timing Belt + Cam Pulley + Water Pump File. The Cam Nut or the Bolt and Washer are Shown as #14, 17, 18. I Looked at the Breakdown for the HT3813 SA Lawn Tractor, JPN, Serial # 5000001 - 5099999. If this is Not the Correct Mower, then Please Direct me to the Correct Mower so I can Better Assist you. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck
