Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): rx75, srx, model numbers

Question
QUESTION: I just bought this mower and they said it was 5 or 6 years old, but I read that they quit making all rx mowers in 1990.  What do you say?

ANSWER: Hello Leon:

Send me the Serial Numbers Off the Mower and the Engine. With these I can Give you the Date of Manufacture (d/m/y) for Both the Mower and the Engine. Thanks.

QUESTION: # for engine is FC290-087 056 & for mower is MORX75X491508 THANKS

Answer
Hello Again Leon:

The Mower was Manufactured Sept 1988. Parts are Still Available. You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Mower at this Site Addy, http://jdpc.deere.com/jdpc/servlet/com.deere.u90490.partscatalog.view.servlets.H and Enter the Model Numbers and Click Find. Then Select the Sectional File. Then Select the Section of the Mower you Wish to View Online. The RX was Last Manufactured in 1990. In 1991 the SRX was Introduced. The SRX was Last Produced in 1997. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck
