Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): poulan pro 20, climbing the ladder, arinet

Question
QUESTION: chain does not appear to be getting oil; plenty of oil available; almost brand
new; less than a year old. has worked great cutting down about ~10 trees. chain
has started "binding up" by tightning then after i adjust it by loosening it; it is
too loose. bar is not bent; bearings in bar turn freely; but there is no oil in the
chain groove and none "flies" off the tip when tool is running.

ANSWER: Hello Vince:

It May be the Oiler Port is Clogged. The Oiler Filter May be Clogged. The Oiler Itself May be Broken. Send me the Model Numbers Off the Saw, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. Thanks.

QUESTION: poulan pro 4620 avhd; looks like some sawdust & grit got into the oil tank
when the cap was knocked off during cutting. i think it rubbed against my leg
when i was climbing the ladder. i dumped the oil, vacuumed out the residue
and wiped it down with a cloth. i could not figure out how to get to the oil
assembly unit - the pickup or pump. i intend to blow air through the tubing if
i can. i had put it all back together and cut some with it but the chain is still
not getting oil like it should; like it did when i first bought it a year ago. thank
you very much for your help.

Answer
Hello Again Vince:

You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Mower at this Site Addy, http://hayward.arinet.com/scripts/EmpartISAPI.dll?MF&app=ASP&lang=EN&TF=Mainfram and Select the Catalog Poulan/Weed Eater. Select Poulan Pro. Select Saw. This is a Breakdown and you can Easily See how the Saw is Disassembled. The Oil Filter is Most Likely Restricted by the Saw Dust. Thanks for the Update. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck
