Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): honda 3813 engine surging, honda ht3813, arinet

Question
My Honda HT3813 riding mower which has a twin cylinder 13hp liquid cooled engine  seems to run just fine when you first start it, but after mowing the lawn, and disengaging the mowing deck, I notice that the engine is surging. After  shutting it off, and letting it cool down for a while, I can restart it and it seems to run without surging. Any advice you can give would be much appreciated.
       Thanks,

Answer
Hello Dave:

You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Mower/Engine at this Site Addy, http://hayward.arinet.com/scripts/EmpartISAPI.dll?MF&app=ASP&lang=EN&TF=Mainfram... and Select the Catalog American Honda. Check the Gas Tank Cap and Ensure it is Venting the Tank Properly. Usually this is Caused by the Gas Flow Being Restricted to the Carburetor Bowl or to the Carburetor Jet. If the Gas Flow is Good to the Carburetor, then Clean the Carburetor to Remove it from the Diagostic List. If the Gas Flow to the Carburetor is Good and the Carburetor Cleaning Does Not Correct the Problem, then we will Need to Go Further in the Diagnostic Process. Usually One or the Other will Correct this Problem. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck
