Chrysler Repair: Is the solenoid pack on 2002 Sebring bad?, solenoid pack, dipstick tube

my car is starting to not want to shift gears correctly ,when car is in reverse go real slow even when i give it little gas. when it in drive it acts like when i stop at a light ,brake .Sometimes its slow to move when i give it gas.thank you for your help.

My advice would be to do a readout of the trans computer for the presence of fault codes. Try the ignition key:"on-off-on-off-on and leave on" doing that in 5 seconds or less elapsed time. Then watch the odometer window to see if any 4-digit number show up, and if so tell me what they are. If not, then go to an Autozone parts store where they will plug in a reader to a socket under the dash and get the codes that way, for free in most cases. That is the best way to get a hint about what might be causing your problem. Did you check the fluid level in the transmission? If you are low,as shown on its separate dipstick, then add ATF +4 type fluid through the dipstick tube but don't overfill it, either, as that can cause a new problem.
