Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): pulley change, briggs and stratton, question pool

Question
I was wanting to make my mower faster for some fun back yard racing. I heard that I could change the pulley on the transmission and engine. Put a bigger pulley on the engine and a smaller one on the engine. Is there a way to swap the pulley from the transmission and put it on the engine? Also how do I go about removing the pulleys? This is a old Murray with a 10hp Briggs and Stratton engine. The deck is rusted through and is off so I planned on having some fun with it instead of throwing it away. Any help with removing the pulleys and such would be grateful. Thanks,

Answer
Hello Aaron:

Sorry for the Delay. This Question was Located in the Question Pool. Replace the Engine Puley First and Leave the Transaxle Pulley Alone. Due to Roll Over Issues you will Most Likely Find the Engine Pulley that is Larger will Increase the Ground Speed More than you Require to have Safe Fun. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck
