Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Wiring an old riding mower, yellow wires, riding mower

Question
Hi Eric,
My friend and I are trying to get an old Murray riding mower 8-36568 running again. The mower is too old to find any records of online. It would not ignite when we changed the battery and spark plug, it was just spitting gas out the exhaust. So we are going to try to rewire it from the ignition switch on. We took off the wires and now trying to rewire it.

The ignition switch has 5 terminals from top left working counter clockwise L-M-G-B-S. There are 3 sets of wires to run there, one is red and black, which comes from the battery (which i know connects to B for battery.) there are also 2 yellow wires, one of which looks like it connects to a black wire near the engine, the black wire of which appears to enter the engine on top of the block. the other side of the yellow wire heads to what might be a grounding center that has four prongs to attach too. The last wires are black, one of which runs to a small 2 prong piece that moves when the brake pedal is depressed.  The prongs are stacked one on top of the other.

So here in lies my questions for now. Where do the yellow and black wires connect to the ignition switch? and does the black wire have to connect to either the top or the bottom prong on the piece connected to the pedal?

Thanks so much for answering my questions. Hopefully we can get this thing running!
