Can I get a carburetor kit for model # 917.376341 it has engine model # 143.966500?  It is an older mower and has worked great till now.  The mower keeps dying after about 5-8 seconds after I give it a few pumps.  Put in new gas changed the air filter, plug looks good still. It runs and sounds good for those 5 seconds then just dies.  From what it sounds like many others have had the same problem and the carb kit is about the last alternative option.  I just can't find where and if I can get one for that mower.  I can't even get the entire engine from sears since it is so old.     If not I guess I'll just get a honda.  Thanks for your help.
