Answer
Hello Greg:

1- Are you having the Crankshaft Turned, Welded and then Turned to Match the New Rod? I have had this Performed and Found that a New Crankshaft would have been Cheaper. 2- However, you have the Timing of the Valves Correct. Match the Dot on the Cam to the Dot on the Crankshaft. 3- Deglazing is Honing the Cylinder and Roughing it Up so the New Rings will Seat. You will need a Deglazing/Hone Tool for this. The Cylinder Should have a Dull Finish when you have the Cylinder Deglazed Properly. You have to be Carefull and Not Oval the Cylinder when Deglazing. Hold the Deglazing Tool Straight and Slowly Push and Pull the Tool through the Cylinder and Use Plenty of Oil During the Process. Anytime a Piston is Removed from the Cylinder, the Cylinder has to be Deglazed. You can View a Breakdown/IPL of this Engine at this Site Addy, http://www.smallenginepartswarehouse.com/parts.asp and Select the Shop Online Parts Look Up. Then Select the Model Tab. Then Select the OEM and Enter the Model Numbers. Then Double Click on the Model in the Results Area. Now you can Select the Section of the Engine you Wish to View. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck
