Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): John Deere Mower, john deere l110, power train

Question
I have a John Deere L110 with 70 hrs. I was going to mow today but I could not get the mower to go forward or backward. It started up just fine and have not had this problem before. I do not know what to do. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you , Joanna And yes the brake was off

Answer
Hello Joanna:

LOL  Ok. We know the Brake was Off. The Motion Drive Belt May have Jumped Off a Pulley or the Clutch Idler Arm May be Frozen and Requires Lubrication. You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Mower at this Site Addy, http://jdpc.deere.com/jdpc/servlet/com.deere.u90490.partscatalog.view.servlets.H... and Enter the Model Numbers and Click Find. Then Select the Sectional File. Then Select the Section of the Mower you Wish to View Online. Select the Power Train File. Then Select the Belt Drive and Idlers File. It is Best to Remove the Cutter Deck to Check these Components and Remove the Spark Plug Also. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck
