Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): riding lawn mowers engines, kohler command, riding lawn mower

Question
I'm fixing to purchase a new riding lawn mower. In your opinion, which engine is best?

Answer
Hello Arch:

A While Ago I would have Told you Briggs, Kohler or Lawn Boy. Now However, They All are About the Same. I Prefer the Lawn Boy 2 Cycle Engine for Push Mowers and the Briggs I/C (18hp or Larger) or the Kohler Command Pro Twin Series (18hp or Larger) Engine for Ride On Mowers. Some People like the Kawaski Engine, but I Do Not. Again My Preference. For the Price and Cost of Maintenance; All the Engines are Going to Perform the Same. The Key to Keeping the Mower and Engine in Good Operational Condition is Doing Proper Maintenance. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck
