Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Briggs Governor, tank bracket, throttle control

Question
#130232, 5112, #9108300.  Thanks for the link in another thread showing where to see the part numbers, etc.  However, the pictures for this model do not show how the governor linkage is hooked up.

I once disconnected the governor and decided against it.  Now I cannot determine how it goes back together.  The linkage on the carb is correct...but I'm not sure about the linkage under/behind the tank.  I have the tank off because I plan to clean the carb as well (rust in tank).  Do you have any pictures that show the actual linkage?

The engine runs well when cold but sputters when hot.  The plan to clean the carb revealed improper governor linkage.

Thanks.

Answer
Hello Brian:

I Search the Web Every Day for Better Diagrams and Pictures and as Yet have Not Located Any. This Should be a Simple Hook Up. The Spring Attaches to the Governor Arm and to the Piviot that the Throttle Cable Moves on the Throttle Control/Tank Bracket. The Piviot Moves and Pulls the Spring and the Spring Pulls the Governor Arm and the Link from the Governor Arm to the Carburetor Controls the Engine Speed. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck
