Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): fly wheel removal, steering wheel puller, fly wheels

Question
Thanks John, I have removed dozens of fly wheels with the two briggs pullers I bought. Today I got a rider in and found the hole on my pullers are larger than the cranks on the engines. as far as my briggs book says there are only the two pullers I have them both. what am I missing. How do I get them off. asap please

Answer
Hello Darryl:

Attach a Steering Wheel Puller to the Flywheel Using the Threaded Holes in the Flywheel. Tighten the Puller. Now Hit the Puller with a Hammer. Repeat this Procedure Until the Flywheel Pops Up or can be Lifted Off the Crankshaft. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck
