Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): 3 1/2 briggs, briggs and stratton, throttle shaft

Question
Hi john, I ask a question yesterday, but I may not have giving you enough information. The linkage is ok I also put a new muffler on. Once I get it started and it goes to down to a low idle I can manually move the throttle and no change in rpm, I sure would appreciate some advice,
THANKS Steve

Answer
 Hello Again Steve:

OK Sorry I Misunderstood the Problem. You can View the Breakdown I am Referring to at this Addy http://www.outdoordistributors.com/ and Select the B. Then Select Briggs and Stratton. Then Select Don't have Part Numbers. Then Select the Last File on the Page (#9). Then Select 91200. Are you Moving the Throttle with the Throttle Cable or at the Carburetor Itself? If the Linkage is Moving the Throttle Shaft, then Remove the Carburetor and Check the Throttle Valve and Mounting Screw. It Sounds Like the Screw has Come Out and the Throttle Valve is Moving Freely or the Throttle Connecting Plate has Loosened from the Throttle Shaft and is Not Turning the Throttle Valve. If the Throttle Valve and Screw are Correct, then Hold the Throttle Valve and Move the Throttle Plate. The Connector Plate should Not Move if you are Holding the Throttle Valve. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
