Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Murray hydrostatic transaxle, hydrostatic transaxle, riding lawn mower

Question
I ran over some branches with my riding lawn mower and now the transaxle seems to slip when put into reverse and on occasion when I try and go forward it doesn't go forward right away.  Wwhat can I look for?

Answer
 Hello Rob:

The Branches May have Knocked the Belt Off the Idler Pulleys. A Hydro Won't Slip Unless there is an Internal Problem or the Motion Drive Belt is Not Routed Properly or is Slipping. Send me the Model Numbers Off the Mower, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
