Hello John,
Thank you for the quick response, unfortunately I was not able to find the info you recommended in the document you directed me to. Here is the info you requested if I had more questions. Family: SKH39841G2RB Model: CV12.5S I have never worked on small engines before are there any procedure for resetting the valve clearance? Thank you for all of your help.

 Hello Ben:

 Go to this Addy http://www.smallenginepartswarehouse.com/parts.asp and Select the Shop Online Parts Look Up Box. Then Select the Model Tab. Then Select the OEM (Kohler Engines). Then Enter the Model Numbers CV12.5S and Click Search. There will be 8 Results. Double Click on Your Engine in the Results Area. *I used the First Engine in the Results Area for a Reference.* Then Select Head/Valve/Breather. This is a Breakdown/IPL of the Valves. Set the Engine to Top Dead Center. Now Adjust the Intake Valve to .003in - .005in and the Exhaust Valve to .008in - .010in. Use a Blade Feeler gauge to Slide Between the Rocker Arm and the Valve Stem to Set the Clearance. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.
