Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Montgomery Ward 33886B, starter solenoid, montgomery wards

Question
I can get the starter to turn by placing a positive jumper cabel to it.  Further testing I have done already:
1. Tested wire positive battery to solinoid for resistance and voltage--good.
2. Tested wire from solinoid to starter for resistance--good. Tested for voltage and could not get a reading.  The solinoid is new.
3.  Tested wire from positive battery terminal to fuse block or switch on left side of tractor for voltage and resistance--good.  The other wire out of this goes to ignition switch.
4.  Tested wire and ammeter for resistance-good.

I'm sure there is another safety switch that I may be missing but haven't got there yet.

Thanks for the help!
John

 Hello John:

While I'm Searching for a Breakdown/IPL/Diagram; I have a Few Questions. 1- Have you Jumpered the Safety Switches? the Seat, Clutch and/or Neutral and the Blade Safety Switches will Cause the Problem you are having. 2- Have you Jumpered the Starter Solenoid? 3- Have you Jumpered Straight to the Starter? Thanks.

 Respectfully

 John

Answer
 Hello John:

Im Not having Much Luck Locating a Diagragm for this Mower. Most Montgomery Wards Mowers were Manufactured by MTD and The Yard-Man and Yard Machines Mowers will Closely Match the Wards Mower you Have. Try this Addy http://www.buymtdonline.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Home_YardMan_10101_19502_- and Click the Detailed Parts Finder Bar. Then Enter this Model Number 3389-61. This May Help.  Im Still Looking for Information about this Mower Too. Hope this will Help. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully
