yes i am lost and i dont understand the wiring diagram i have it doesn't use a color code or a + for positive or - for negative can you please help the wiring diagram is at X-Treme Scooters.com and its the schematic for XG-505

I've looked at the diagram you refer to, and I find the positive at the left side of the battery, and the negative at the right.

If you look at the existing wiring you can use it to determine the wiring color code, or make up your own.

You'll need to make sure the starter turns in the proper  direction - if you wire it backwards it will turn in the wrong direction.

Always disconnect the negative wire first, and always hook it back up last.
